Celtic World

Celtic World is one of my own web sites and is dedicated to covering topics about Celtic civilization. The main visual object in this logo is a stylized torc, a neck-ring worn by high-status individuals in Celtic cultures, and even sometimes depicted as worn by Celtic deities. Some of the more famous archeological finds of torcs include that worn by a Hochdorf prince in the Hallstatt culture, and that worn by a princesss at Vix in Burgundy.
