Amber Leaf Creative :: Copywriting

Copywriting Freelancing, 2006-present

In 2006 I relocated and started my own creative agency called Amber Leaf Creative (ALC). On the design side, I developed bespoke websites for numerous novelists including NYT and USA Today best-selling authors Tawny Weber and C.L. Wilson, as well as cross-genre author Leslie Dicken a.k.a Jordanna Kay. In addition to website development and design, my novel The Spiral Path was published by Carina Press and I was a regular blogger and freelance copywriter.

For Writers

In addition to copywriting and blogging, I also developed educational resources for writers including articles and a worksheet on The Hero’s Journey based on Joseph Campbell’s The Hero With a Thousand Faces and Christopher Vogler’s The Writer’s Journey. My Hero’s Journey story model has been utilized in high school and college literature courses, and was also used by Zappos Insights in their corporate culture-building curriculum.

In collaboration with two other writers, I also developed a ten-week novel writing curriculum based on Joanne Reid’s “How to Write a Novel in Ten Weeks.”
